FAQ

What happens at a gathering?

Every week follows the same five parts: a warm-up icebreaker, naming the topic, one student’s story, small-group conversation with that week’s deck, and a wrap-up with an action step. See how a gathering runs.

Which deck goes with which week?

Week 1 Flow, Week 2 Sparks, Week 3 Cares, Week 4 Moments, Week 5 Virtues, Week 6 What’s Your Story? Each guide tells you how to use its deck.

How big should each conversation group be?

Split into circles of 7–8 people. Two leaders show the room how to use the deck before everyone breaks up.

Do we need to get through every question?

No. The point is a real conversation where everyone is seen, heard and known. Pick the questions you think will land with your group.

I’m sharing the story this week. What should it be?

Three to five minutes, and honest rather than polished. Each guide has prompt questions to help you find yours. Your openness gives everyone else permission to open up too.

Can I make my own posters or posts?

Yes. Whisper Studio makes on-brand posts, stories, flyers and posters, and the Brand Toolkit has logos and fonts.

Who do I ask when I’m stuck?

Start with the adult volunteer who coaches your school. You can also email the Whisper team at bryan@hearthewhisper.com.
